     The purpose of the Bible is to proclaim God's plan and passion to save His children.  This is why this book has endured throughout the centuries.  It is the treasure map that leads us to God's highest treasure of eternal life.  Our prayer is that you not only come to know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, but grow in His grace and respond to His calling that He has on your life.

"For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe." (Hebrews 5:13)  Maybe you are at a stagnant point of your life where you seem to lack growth in your Christian walk. Does anything outside the gospels, New Testament or topical sermons seem foreign?  Our carnal nature assumes that the entire bible is too difficult, so we just don't go there.  Living in a "microwave society,"  we instead look for a fast, easy way to get quick answers and fixes. We tend to lean toward "Consumer Christianity" methods in order to get life's answers through man's commentaries or "12-Step" programs. When we have fallen into this trap, we may "practice a form of godliness but deny His power" (2 Timothy 3:5), having diverted from God's will for our lives.  God has given us "all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue" (2 Peter 1:3).  All the answers in life are found in His Living Word, and it's not too difficult to understand.  In these last days, He is calling us to return back to His Word, for it is now time for the Body of Christ to move on to solid food.
